Stereocilia for 2 Ears

Stereocilia for 2 Ears by Jacob Kirkegaard is edited from acoustic recordings of spontaneous otoacoustic emissions – clusters of simultaneously emitted tones from both ears of a single person.

 

The piece was curated by Julie Lillelien Porter in response to Eve Ariza's installation Murmuri and The Lonesome Dreamer by Valeria Montti Colque at Kunsthall 3,14.

PARABOL is the name we use for the sound shower located at Kunsthall 3,14’s entrance hall. The sonic works presented here are curated by Lydgalleriet on invitation from Kunsthall 3,14, with the intention of reflecting the always relevant exhibition themes presented upstairs.
