Little Queer Lullaby

Little Queer Lullaby is a sound piece by Mor Efrony curated in response to the exhibition Irresistible Earth by Rina Banerjee.

Once upon a time they were she

And she is a Multi Orgasmic creature

Each and every O was rippling the sky

Each and every O is rippling the night

Each and every O energising her

Each and every O nurturing the earth

And she is a Multi Orgasmic creature

Each and every O ripples beyond the periphery of her skin

And she was just ripe

The composition is recorded in an instant womb-like acoustic set up made of wood, Tibetan bells, Indian bells (tarlam) and an oud. The remixed sitar part is recorded through the project Dreamwaves/ Concert for a Sleeping Conductor. A live feedback loop concert in which the visualised breathing of a sleeping audience became a conducting tool.

PARABOL is the name we use for the sound shower located at Kunsthall 3,14’s entrance hall. The sonic works presented here are curated by Lydgalleriet on invitation from Kunsthall 3,14, with the intention of reflecting the always relevant exhibition themes presented upstairs.
