Awake was the result of workshops the group developed in Bergen and Havana around the idea of listening as a creative practice.

The cuban artist William Ruiz Morales belive that developing forms of imagination and utopias about our future and possible forms of coexistence goes beyond a purely aesthetic act: It becomes the possibility of reaffirming our presence in the world and the capacity of permanence on it.
